During the six-Day war, when my mother was six years old, she and her family immigrated to Israel from Lebanon. When I investigated their history, I found their fascinating journey. In those days, due to the war and the Arb resistance, Jews from Arb country found it very hard to immigrate to Israel. More than that, I found that each one of my grandparent’s parents born in different counties like Turkey, Spain, Syria, and Cuba, and they all fled to Lebanon as a result of Jews persecutions.
In my project, with my old family photos in mind, I illustrated the journey of my family from their homelands to Lebanon and my mother finally immigrating to Israel from Cyprus after fleeing from Lebanon with the hope to arrive Israel
